Erin Tancock grew up in Enderby, British Columbia, Canada and Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. She studied dance and learned the guitar as a child, and continued singing throughout her schooling, even performing an original song at her graduation ceremonies.
Erin moved to Toronto in 2004 to pursue her acting career. She graduated with a musical theatre diploma from The Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts in 2006. Since graduation she has trained with The Second City, Armstrong Acting Studios, and Kim Hurdon Casting.
In 2015 she crossed a huge check mark off her bucket list and sang a tiny but amazing solo onstage at Carnegie Hall, in an all a cappella concert in NYC directed by Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect I and II, The Sing Off).
Erin currently lives in Halifax with her husband, is a bootcamp instructor, personal trainer, spin instructor and aspiring yogafit teacher, loves laughing and hates vacuuming.
